Ultrasonic Dog Door Questions
How can I get rid of rats in my attic?
I don't want to use poison because of my dogs.
The rats totally ignore traps. I was wondering if those ultrasonic devices work.
Help! There has to be a way, besides praying for the Pied Piper to appear at my door.
Help!, again.
I've had a some success with glue traps, and I agree they are one of the best inventions ever... LOL
But more and more rats are born, and yes,
they are taking over the house, like a horror movie.
I am very grateful for your answers.

Don't use glue traps, unless you plan to check on them hourly, to prevent making these rats having a long torturous death. I know they are pests to you, but they don't need to suffer any longer than they need to.
Other than that....
The best thing I've found, to take care of wild rats, is something I do not know if your area of living even has. An opossum. Sounds absurb, but they eat rats, and leave once the food supply is gone. Other than that, a good ''mouser'' cat, if you could find one (and if your dog allows cats).
Also, if you have a feed store near you, they might have the ''Live animal catch traps" (the humane traps, used for catching feral cats & small wildlife).
