"Ultrasonic Bark Control Device"...............................................?
My neighbor just installed this device in his back yard for the "animals" that live around him, including our dogs, without any of our knowledge either, we began hearing a "siren type sound", about every 30 seconds constantly and its obviousley stopping our dogs from barking, but I truely believe its hurting their ears as well, because the minute I open the door to our backyard they run inside the house, and the only time the run inside, is if something is bothering them, and now I cant get them to go back outside, I believce it sends off "ultrasound waves" when they bark, but the constant noise it makes is really effecting their behavior outside, and my dogs are really good boys, theyre playful and fun loving, and Im not going to lie they do quite a bit of barking sometimes, but my neighbors are more of the "older type", so my questions are: is this device even legal/safe?!? What should I do?!?!
it would be a good idea to phone your animal by law officer and see if he is aloud to have one if he doesn't have a pet! because it is a neighborhood problem ask if it affects anyone elses pets or even their children! because children can see and hear ALOT more then adults and teens.PLUS if there is something to make the signal there is a way to block it! maybe look for that product and find the name and search it online there might be something to cancel it out on your own land!... and maybe to help make your dogs want to bark play a CD of dog barks... they may think it's not working anymore and sell it good luck any other questions id be happy to get an IM
