I have an e collar that has a pager button. After 6 months of working with this, my dog is totally on pager. Is that what you mean by ultrasonic? Some people don't like them ...and they might not be the right choice for every dog...but I am having amazing success....he is so well behaved that people ask if I am a trainer. I use a product called dogtra. If you are interested in this type of training, use an experienced trainer...don't do it on your own....do some more research into the workings of it....and be prepared to have a lot of people tell you how mean you are! It is safe, effective and does not HURT the animal!!
